A Jussi New Rumour!
Ok, I don't want to jump to any huge conclusions but there has been some activity in the minors for the Oilers. Jussi just started and won two games in a row because they are trying to rest Dwayne Rolosson right? Wrong! I just want to have it on record that I think the Oil are shopping Jussi Markkanen. Devan Dubnyk just got reassigned to Wilkes-Barre of the AHL where Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers and Andrew Penner are both having terrific seasons so it can't be because the Baby Pens need more help between the pipes. What I think is going to happen is that Markkanen will be shipped somewhere and Jeff Double D will be called up to back up Roli. I haven't heard any rumours saying this yet so I wanted to have it on record if this happens. If I turn out to be wrong, I just want to know why the crap we have both of our goalie prospects splitting an already platoon situation. I guess we will see. As long as we pick up a D-man I am fine with this. Good Luck Jussi!

Interesting prediction. The Oilers do really need a veteran D-man who can eat up minutes. I have to say that Jussi was awesome between the pipes for those two games, and it seems to me like Roloson needs to rest more often than he does. I don't know whether the Oilers could afford to have a less skilled back-up goalie for when Roli needs a break. I would almost see them trading a forward for a d-man, since there is an abundance of them.

Actually it was pretty funny at school on Tuesday - people were furious! Pretty funny. Everyone was like, "they did WHAT?!? Nooooo! Now we REALLY suck!"
